Sound Healing Workshop with Dr. Juan Jose Lopera and Tal Zimra Coleman in the Sinai desert November 18-22, 2010. The mesmerising beauty of the desert, its power and purity, the famous Bedouin hospitality, the turquoise water of the red sea, all add up to creating optimal conditions for exploring inner landscapes through sound and silence.

This workshop is about:

• Finding and expressing your own unique voice, your own tone - as a tool for healing, rejoicing and revitalization.

• Opening our inner channels through the sound use of sound

• Releasing blocked energies communicated from the hidden realms of the heart. 

• Exerting transformational effects through sound and singing.

• The goal is no less than to align with our own soul, with our own purpose of life.

During this workshop we will touch the subjects of how to use sound, voice and music as privileged instruments for healing,growing and enjoying life through several techniques:

- Toning
- Breathing exercises
- Overtone singing
- Improvisation
- Raga singing
- Sound and silence meditations

This work is highly transformative and inspiring. The workshop is open to all who desire to try sound approach to inner work.

Juan Jose Lopera

Born in Colombia. Graduated as a Medical Doctor
in 1988 and moved to Europe in summer 1993 spending two seasons at the Opera Studio from the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. In 1994 he wins the third price at the international singing competition from the ARD in Munich, in 1997 the first Eberhard Waechter Medal in Vienna and the Price of the critics and public from Tirol.

Since 1995 he has sung in several opera houses of Europe; among which the Vienna State Opera, The Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Theatre de la Monnaie in Brussels, Gran Teatro de la Maestranza in Sevilla, Bavarian State Opera in Munich, Le Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples  and Teatro dell'Opera in Roma .

In Concert, he has sung in Philharmonic Concert Halls and many important churches and Concert Halls all over Europe.
