Through the whole body
The body is mostly water, and sound travels more than four times faster through water than through air. Lying down lets the vibration move through the whole body rather than reaching only the ears.
Sound Shower
A sound bath received lying down — gongs, Tibetan bowls, flutes, bells, and drums played around you while you rest.

Modern life leaves many of us carrying stress and imbalance in the body, often as tiredness and tension. A Sound Shower is a pause from that: you lie comfortably on a mattress, close your eyes, and are “showered” by acoustic instruments rich in overtones — organic tones drawn from natural materials that fill the whole room.
As the sound settles, the pulse tends to slow and the breath returns to its own rhythm. Many listeners drift towards the slow alpha and theta brainwave states associated with deep relaxation — awake, yet resting more deeply than usual.
Throughout the session Tal moves among the participants and plays instruments close to each person, so that everyone also receives the sound individually.
How it works
Through the whole body
The body is mostly water, and sound travels more than four times faster through water than through air. Lying down lets the vibration move through the whole body rather than reaching only the ears.
The vagus nerve
The ear is connected through the vagus nerve — which runs from the head through the neck and chest into the abdomen — to the body's rest-and-digest response. Sound is one of the gentlest ways to reach it.
A musical break
Imagine taking a pause in the middle of a working day, simply bathed in acoustic instruments — and returning rested, clear, and a little lighter.

A note on language
A Sound Shower is offered for relaxation, wellbeing, and contemplative experience. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological care.
Sound Showers are arranged on request — in Norway, at the Ein Hod healing space in Israel, or at your venue.
